When faster media matters
U3/V30 SDXC is a practical floor for many 4K settings, but follow Canon's row for the selected bit depth and frame rate.
V60 UHS-II SDXC for listed 4K 50/60p 10-bit and Full HD 150/180p 10-bit modes.
Canon specifies V60 or higher for several 10-bit high-frame-rate combinations; 8-bit versions may call for U3 instead.

Capacity
The camera supports SD, SDHC, and SDXC. Format the cards in camera and use equal-performance cards for duplicate recording.
Reader
A UHS-II SD reader preserves the transfer advantage of UHS-II cards.
Three checks worth making
- Both cards should meet the active recording mode when duplicating movies.
- A V60 requirement can depend on 10-bit capture even at the same resolution.
- Test the intended 4K setting before a paid job.
