How StorageSift evaluates a deal.

Our rankings are designed to answer a practical question: is this the right storage product at a genuinely useful price from a source a buyer can verify?

Authorized data first

StorageSift prefers official retailer APIs, approved affiliate feeds, manufacturer documentation, and established U.S. retailers. We do not bypass access controls or treat an unverified scraped price as authoritative.

What goes into a deal score

  • Current price compared with recent and historic observations.
  • Price per gigabyte or terabyte within the same product class.
  • Specifications that affect real use, including interface, sustained-write class, endurance, and warranty.
  • Seller identity, product condition, availability, and listing quality.
  • Compatibility with the cameras and workflows the product is intended to support.

A score is a comparison aid, not a laboratory test, warranty, or guarantee that a product is right for every buyer.

Demo and unavailable pricing

Until an authorized live source is connected, sample offers are labeled as demonstration data and do not link to checkout. Demonstration prices are examples only; they are not current offers. Live listings will show when they were last checked.

Editorial independence

Affiliate compensation does not determine inclusion, placement, or score. StorageSift can link to a retailer only after the relevant program authorizes the relationship, and a higher commission does not make an offer rank higher.

Corrections and review

Prices, specifications, and qualified-media lists can change. Verify the seller, condition, compatibility, and checkout total before purchasing. To report an issue, email info@storagesift.com with the product and source URL.
