What fits in each slot
| Slot | Formats | Interface | Workflow note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Slot 1 | CFexpress Type B | CFexpress | Preferred for ProRes, high-bitrate video, and deep bursts. |
| Slot 2 | SD/SDHC/SDXC | UHS-I / UHS-II | Supports compatible still and movie settings. |
When faster media matters
Everyday recommendation
U3 SDXC for 100–200 Mbps recording; V60 SDXC or Type B for 360 Mbps.
Demanding recommendation
CFexpress Type B for ProRes; V90 SDXC or Type B for 720 Mbps recording.
Card choice follows media setting and bitrate: ProRes uses Type B, while 720 Mbps needs Type B or V90 SDXC.
Plan the complete workflow
Capacity
SD/SDHC/SDXC and CFexpress Type B are supported. High-resolution 8K and ProRes workflows benefit from larger Type B capacity.
Reader
Use a Type B reader for Slot 1 and UHS-II SD reader for Slot 2.
Three checks worth making
- The SD slot does not support internal ProRes.
- Type A cards do not fit the Type B slot.
- Use Fujifilm's current tested-media list.
